Our Heritage

The venture originated in 1989 as a welfare initiative when the Sri Lanka Army established the Wadduwa Holiday Resort to provide rest and recuperation space for armed personnel. Over the years, the portfolio expanded into premier destinations across Wadduwa, Kukuleganga, Yala, and Kalkudah.

Following the end of hostilities in 2009, the Sri Lanka Army spearheads nation-building efforts, including fostering Sri Lanka's booming tourism industry by welcoming international travelers and local families alike to world-class resorts.
